How to reach
Breuil-Cervinia
Breuil-Cervinia is located
in the Aosta Valley (Valle d'Aosta), a northern region of Italy, at the
end of Valtournenche just at the bottom of Monte Cervino (Matterhorn) at
2040 m a.s.l.


You can reach it
from Italy
by car:
From Turin
you have to drive along the "A5" motorway (Torino-Aosta), exit at Chatillon
and then take the "SS 406" road towards Valtournenche. After just 28 Km,
at the end of this road, you arrive at Breuil-Cervinia!

by train:
The nearest train station to Breuil-Cervinia is Chatillon. At the moment there are problems with the railway connections in Valle d'Aosta. We therefore advise to use bus connections.
by bus:
Check here at the BUS TIMETABLE. There is not a direct connection from Turin or Milan to Cervinia. To reach Cervinia you have to change bus at Chatillon. The bus stations are in the city and not at the airports.
from abroad
by car:
From outside Valle d'Aosta is reachable by the 2 tunnels down the Alps: Monte Bianco (actually closed) and Gran San Bernardo. You drive the railway "A5" from Aosta towards Turin and exit at Chatillon. At the end of the road "SS 406" toward Valtournenche, after just 28 Km, you arrive at Breuil-Cervinia!
by plane:
The nearest
airports are: Turin (Caselle Airport),
Milan (Malpensa and Linate
Airport), Geneve (GVA Airport)
and Genova (Cristoforo
Colombo Airport).
For intercontinental
fligths the LOC suggests arriving at Malpensa Airport in Milan.
Shuttles between the airport and Breuil-Cervinia are planned for the
weekends immediatly before and after the Workshop (7-8 July & 14-15
July). The 2K1BC Secretary has to be informed about your arrival in order
to organise the transfers.
